Missing my Prissy dog has been hard. I still haven't heard from the vet clinic when I am going to receive her ashes, but I am sure it's bound to be soon now. The house has been very quiet, and I am missing the prancing of miss Priss. Not only did I take it so hard, but my teen daughter took it very hard as well. Trying to soothe her tears were hard, because I was trying to dry mine as well.
I have to say though, that I truely enjoyed every minute of having Prissy. She was a joy to have and she always made my days happy, even when life didn't always go right. I wonder if our little dogs go to a doggie heaven.......ever wonder?

I prefer to think that yes, they do go to heaven and are waiting for us up there.
I believe that animal spirits who love you never really leave you. Their engery stays around you until your tears dry and when they think your OK, then they go to the rainbow bridge where they meet up with other animals who have also passed. When we die, those animal spirits who we still love come back to us in heaven and we get to see, kiss and hold them again. So dry your tears, Prissy is waiting for you to feel better so she can cross over and wait for you. You will see her again, so just know that and it will help you deal with your hurt now and share this with with your daughter too. Someday she will be in your arms again, just believe and give your pain up to God. Bless you!
